Dolly Parton's Imagination Library

Literacy Outreach for Madison County, NY partners with Dolly Parton's Imagination Library to assist parents in teaching their children to read. Anyone with children ages 0-5 can register to receive books in the mail from DPIL, free of charge.

Mission

Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library puts books into the hands and hearts of children across the world. DPIL partners with local community organizations like Literacy Outreach for Madison County, NY to provide a hand-selected, age-appropriate, high-quality book each month to registered children from birth to age five.

While the majority of the costs are covered by Dolly Parton and the Imagination Library, affiliates are responsible for some costs- including a percentage of the books, postage, and marketing efforts.

Please consider donating to MAD for Dolly. By donating through the provided link 100% of your donation is spent on early literacy efforts here in Madison County! Checks may also be made out to Cazenovia Public Library and delivered to 100 Albany St Cazenovia, NY 13035.
